The San Juan de Capistrano estate is a well-known urbanization of Nerja, located at the foot of the Sierra Tejeda-Almijara natural park. It consists of approx. 500 houses and apartments of varying sizes and types, designed as an imitation of a typical white Mediterranean village, with wide avenues, very well-kept green areas, narrow pedestrian streets full of flowers, and a strong Andalusian character. It has a large communal pool for adults and a children's pool. Next to the pool there is a large lawn area where you can rent hammocks or eat something in any of the choice of snack bars that are just beside the pool area. It also has a supermarket a few meters away and a large restaurant & celebration hall serving only groups. About 1,800 meters from the Burriana beach and the downtown areas of Nerja. There is a local bus service every 45 minutes, the route includes other outlying estates, down to the centre of Nerja downtown and to the popular beaches.
